All girls at Leweston are encouraged to take part in a number of activities outside their normal academic, musical and sporting commitments.

In the evenings there is an extensive after-school programme, which is on offer to all pupils, on Monday, Tuesdays, Wednesday and Fridays between 4.45pm and 5.45pm and 7.30pm and 8.30pm. The programme of activities varies each term with girls choosing their options each half-term. Pupils are invited to comment on the timetable and suggest future activities to be included in the programme.

Every weekend both boarders and day pupils are invited to participate in further activities and trips. The timetable is again prepared in advance circulated to all parents at the end of the preceding term but, in order to accommodate last minute opportunities as well as the British weather the programme is supplemented on a weekly basis. Every Saturday morning Years 7 to 11 attend a Saturday lecture on a different topic, for Sixth Formers attendance is voluntary. These lectures are presented either by members of the academic staff or the girls themselves and range from Launching a Product to Famous People of the Twentieth Century.

The range of extra-curricular activities available to pupils is outstanding, and greatly enhances the curriculum provision.
