Full time Early Years/Nursery Practitioner

Due to our continued success and expansion, Leweston School is seeking an enthusiastic and committed Early Years Practitioner to join our thriving Nursery which offers high quality childcare and education. The ideal candidate will have a good working knowledge of the EYFS, strong communication skills and a passion to be an exceptional Early Years Educator. Applicants should be qualified to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent, experience of working in a similar role is desirable.

This is a full time role working 40 hours per week. Hours of work are between 7.30am and 6.15pm, Monday – Friday, in accordance with the duty shift rota.

IT Network Manager

The successful candidate will have experience of working within an educational environment, have a track record of supporting teaching and learning and a track record of providing strategic leadership. Holding industry certifications or have 5+ years of customer facing hands-on support, maintenance and installation with the technologies listed below:

  • Microsoft Hyper-V
  • SAN and NAS Technologies
  • Windows Server 2008R2 and 2016
  • Office 365
  • Server hardware (preferably HP)
  • Active Directory, Group Policy and Domain Services
  • TCP/IP, VLAN, switching, routing and firewall configuration
  • Corporate wireless systems
  • Virtual server backup technologies such as Veeam
  • VoIP telephony systems
  • Windows 7/10

It would also be beneficial to have experience of:

  • SharePoint
  • Anti-virus technologies
  • Web, E-mail Security
  • MIS systems, classroom management tools and teaching and learning applications and equipment such as smart-screens whiteboards etc.
  • Mobile Device and Application Management
  • ITIL and IT best practice frameworks
  • Demonstrable budget management experience
  • Digital signage technologies/SOC

Applicants are required to have proven experience of technical project implementation and troubleshooting, possess exceptional customer service and communication skills with an ability to develop and build strong stakeholder relationships.

Attention to detail is a must with a methodical and professional approach to service delivery including appropriate due diligence, planning, documentation and engagement with management, support staff, academic staff and third parties. This key role will be responsible for the delivery and quality of IT support services on a day to day basis.

This role requires line management and development of on-site IT support staff, therefore, management\supervisory experience would be beneficial. Candidates with experience of IT management within an educational setting will have a distinct advantage.

Working Hours:

The full-time salary for this post is c £28k per annum depending on skills and experience. Holiday is 25 days plus bank holidays to be taken during school holidays. The standard working hours are 8.00am to 4.30pm with half an hour for lunch. Occasional overtime may be required to meet the demands of the school.
